PRODUCER + COPYWRITER

Kelsea is the digital producer at Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, where she gets to write funny things for the internet and for large-scale activations. Her copywriting at the show covers social and digital promotion across all platforms, and has been included in projects like: The exhibit panels in a fake museum, the promotional content for a fake sexual wellness blanket, and the jumbotron videos for a fake-sounding Minor League Baseball team that was actually very real.

Kelsea started her TV career as a writer’s assistant for season 1, then an associate producer for season 2 of HBO’s comedic docuseries Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas. With the show, she got to travel the U.S. producing segments on social justice and systemic inequality. In a funny way.

Kelsea is extra proud of these pieces she helped pitch, produce, and write for the shows she’s worked on. When not producing for late night, she has also produced branded content for companies like Canon, and Kelsea is a copywriter for individuals and companies looking to grow their online presence. If you are learning to love the internet and need a little help, contact her.

As a byproduct of being professionally online, you may have seen these viral posts of Kelsea telling nice stories about Zac Efron and/or upsetting Elon Musk.
